New shoes

I also got my first Sperrys today. I love them. Hadn't been shoe shopping in a loooong time. Saw a bunch that I will be buying. 

New Truck!

Traded off the Tahoe today. Got a Ranger again! It has been about 13 years since I had my last one. This is going to save us a ton of money each month. I just wasn't really using the Tahoe anymore.

Happy Hour

I've come to realize that I am now a "happy hour" warrior vs. a "weekend" warrior. I like to just have a few drinks when I get off work, instead of binging one or two (or three) days a week.

Youtube Updates

I have been working on updating my Youtube Channel. There have been lots of changes since I was last more heavily involved in Youtube and making videos. I have updated many of the tags and the overall look of my channel. I hope it looks better.

After this past weekend I also have some new videos up. We went to Wichita for Katie and Kristen's birthday celebration. Party Bus! It is kind of funny to see the videos from 5 years ago in contrast with the ones from a few days ago. The old footage is terrible looking! Even funnier is that I used a DV camcorder. The videos from this past trip were all taken with my phone! Progress.

What I'm Watching

Lately I have been watching more shows on Netflix Instant. It has become an addiction for me. It all started with The Office over four years ago and has gotten worse every year! The biggest/longest show we have watched so far has been Lost. We both had never seen a single episode beyond the very first one. That was quite an undertaking. After we found that we quite enjoyed watching shows instantly we downgraded our cable service to basic. I haven't really missed it. At first we missed the DVR we had, but have become accustomed to life without it.


Anyways, the shows I have watched recently:

-Battlestar Galactica
-Caprica
-Chowder*
-Star Trek: The Next Generation*

Battlestar Galactica was definitely one of my favorites. I was always biased against this show, for reasons I really don't know. Maybe my Star Wars obsession prevented me at first from liking another major sci-fi show. Not really sure. I would check it out though even if the sci-fi thing isn't particularly  your thing.

 

Back to normal

I am going back to a state of reclusiveness. Feels good.
