Move Move Shake Now Drop

So I haven't posted in a while. The last post was pre-transfer to new job. I am now in full swing at the new store. It isn't so bad. But here is a quick rundown of things I have been up to lately: *New job *Decided to make this an awesome summer *Met some really cool people *Love the movies "Mystic River and Ocean's Thirteen" (Saw them when they came out, but recently have watched them over and over) *I am in desperate need of a new vehicle...looking into Range Rovers and Corvettes *Working on a mean tan *Rocking a new hairstyle *Been called Brian Lovewell waaay too many times *Becoming a huge fan of Iced Coffee drinks...dammit *Saying dumb things like "Doogle Dorp" and "Fraggle Frap" *Have a huge crush on Katy Perry *Have a strong urge to drink Mojitos *Love chillin' by the pool lately *Been going to The Home...very strange Well that's all I can think of right now... -RandomEye

The end of the decade...

So I am almost done with my current job. I sit here only 2 days from it. The end. A friend put some finality on it by saying "so you will never work there again?"

That really made it sink in.

Then I started thinking about the things I will never do again, ever. Things that I am mostly happy with not having to do again. But also somewhat saddened by it all. Its almost like coming to grips with someone's death. Knowing that you will never again see them alive and the memories are all you have. I am not trying to be morbid, but I had to relate it to the finality that death has.

I don't think it is so much that I am sad that it is almost over, but that it was sprung upon me so quickly and now I have to face the idea that 10 years is about to conclude.

So yay, new job! I am excited. Let a new adventure begin!
