New Car!!!

So I finally got a new car. I skipped a whole decade. '87 to '05. This is an awesome machine. It's a 2005 Chevy Tahoe Z71. Black with all leather interior. It has so many options that it will take me months to figure it all out. It's hard to think that I put up with my old car for so long. I still love my Camaro, but this is much more luxurious. I am going to sell the old "Flatch" which is sad. That pickup was a great investment. It is okay though, it will go to a good cause. I have not taken any pictures of it yet. I don't want to be "that guy" who got a new car and has to brag about how cool it is all over. I dearly want to though!

I am going to leave you with this quote from the late, great Hunter S. Thompson. It pretty much sums up how I feel at this moment.

"Now this was a superior machine. Ten grand worth of gimmicks and high-priced special effects. The rear windows lit up with a touch like frogs in a dynamite pond. The dashboard was full of esoteric lights and dials and meters that I would never understand."

Just a little off the top, don't shave me bare...

Got a haircut yesterday. Ugh. She cut it waaay too short. I wanted short, not Semper Fi short. Then I had to shave the beard to make it look good. I looked like a Scottish Soccer Hooligan. Not happy.

So begins the process of regrowth.
